iTAMPA exists to help families find trusted care and to bring Muslim clinicians together. We collect as little as possible, and we are clear about what we do with what we hold. This policy explains it plainly.

No patient accounts, no patient data
Our provider directory and live map are free and open to the public. You do not need to create an account, sign in, or give us any personal details to search for a provider. We do not ask for — and do not collect — any patient health information through this site. We are not a patient portal, and no medical records pass through iTAMPA.
Member information is displayed by consent
When a healthcare professional joins iTAMPA and chooses to be listed, they provide information such as their name, professional credentials, specialty, languages spoken, and practice details (for example, practice name, address, and contact information). Members submit this information knowing it will be shown publicly in the directory and on the map, so that the community can find them.
Members may ask us to update or remove their listing at any time by contacting the board. We keep listings current so that the families who rely on us find accurate information.
When you contact us
If you email the board, register for an event, or submit a membership or job inquiry, we receive the information you choose to share — such as your name, email address, and your message. We use it only to respond to you and to administer the community. Please do not send us personal health information; this site is not a secure channel for medical matters, and you should speak with a provider directly about your care.
How we use information
We use the information we hold to operate the directory and map, to communicate with members about the community and its gatherings, and to respond to inquiries. We do not sell your information. We share it only as needed to run the service (for example, with the vendors who host the site or send our email) or where the law requires it.
Basic technical data
Like most websites, our hosting and map providers may process standard technical information — such as your browser type, approximate location, and pages visited — to keep the site secure and working well. This is not tied to a patient identity and is not used to track you across other sites for advertising.
Children
The directory is intended for adults seeking care information and for healthcare professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the community grows or as our practices change. When we do, we will revise the date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
