These terms describe how the iTAMPA directory and community work, and what we ask of those who use them. By using the site, you agree to what follows. We have kept it short and human.

Using the directory
The iTAMPA provider directory and map are offered free of charge to help the community find Muslim healthcare professionals across Tampa Bay. You may browse and search without an account. Please use the site for its intended purpose — finding care and connecting with the community — and not to scrape, copy, or misuse member information, or to disrupt the service for others.
Not medical advice
iTAMPA is a directory and a community, not a medical provider. Nothing on this site is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and a listing is not a referral or recommendation for any particular care. A listing is a starting point — it does not create a provider–patient relationship. Always confirm a provider’s credentials and discuss your care directly with them. If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
Member listings & accuracy
Members are responsible for the accuracy of their own listings. If you are listed, you agree to provide truthful, current information about your credentials, specialty, and practice, and to keep it up to date. You agree to list only practice you are licensed and qualified to provide. While we review listings before they appear, we cannot guarantee every detail, and listings may change — so please verify important information directly with the provider.
Board review & moderation
Every listing is reviewed and approved by the iTAMPA board before it goes live. The board may decline, edit, suspend, or remove any listing or content at its discretion — for example, where information is inaccurate, where a member no longer meets our standards, or where conduct is inconsistent with the spirit of the community. Membership is a privilege extended in trust, and we steward it carefully on behalf of everyone who relies on the directory.
Third-party links & services
The site may link to provider practices, partners, or other resources, and uses third-party services such as maps and hosting. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of sites and services we do not control.
No warranties & limitation of liability
The site and directory are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep information accurate and the site available, but we do not guarantee that it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, iTAMPA and its board are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or your choice of provider. Your relationship with any provider is between you and them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the community grows. When we do, we will revise the date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
