Ahmed Khan, MD
Internal medicine
I was born and raised right here in Wesley Chapel, back when many of the roads we drive today were still dirt roads.
I grew up in this community, graduated from Wesley Chapel High School, and earned my undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida. Wesley Chapel has always been home to me, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to give back to the community that helped shape who I am. I went on to earn my medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed my internal medicine residency training at the University of Miami/JFK Medical Center. My medical training also included a one-year research fellowship at the Joslin Diabetes Center, affiliated with Harvard Medical School, where I focused on diabetes and weight management. I was drawn to internal medicine because of its breadth and complexity, and I enjoy the challenge of diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions. My experience in both hospital and outpatient medicine has reinforced my belief in providing comprehensive, continuous care that considers the whole patient. I believe good medicine starts with listening. Whether you're managing diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, or weight concerns, or facing an entirely new health issue, my goal is to take the time to understand your needs and provide thoughtful, evidence-based care tailored to you. As both a physician and a lifelong member of this community, I look forward to building lasting relationships with my patients and helping my neighbors live healthier lives.
